Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026 · Maintained by Ridemora Motorsports.
This Privacy Policy explains how Ridemora Motorsports ("Ridemora", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information you provide when you visit our website or interact with our services. We are committed to handling your information in accordance with Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
1. Information we collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide, including:
- Contact details (name, email, phone, mailing address) submitted through our contact, financing, and trade-in forms.
- Financing-application details such as employment, income, and consent to credit checks.
- Vehicle details you provide for trade-in evaluation.
- Technical information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries, quotes, and service requests.
- To process financing applications with our lending partners (only with your explicit consent).
- To evaluate trade-in offers.
- To improve our website, marketing, and customer experience.
- To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Lending partners you have expressly authorized to receive your credit application.
- Service providers who help us operate the website, send email, or process forms, bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Government or law-enforcement authorities when legally required.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and understand how visitors use our site. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit, and you can control cookies through your browser settings. Essential cookies required for the site to function will always be set.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Supporting documents you upload through our customer portal (ID, proof of income, proof of residency, etc.) are automatically deleted 90 days after your application is marked complete or closed. You can also delete any document you have uploaded at any time from your portal.
6. Security & document handling
We take the protection of your personal and financial documents seriously. Our current controls include:
- All traffic between your browser and our services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and files at rest are encrypted by our storage provider.
- Uploaded documents live in a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible; every access requires an authenticated, short-lived signed link.
- Each customer can only access their own documents; access is enforced by row-level security policies at the database layer, not just in the UI.
- Every uploaded file is validated for type and scanned for malware by an industry virus-scanning service before it becomes accessible to our team.
- Every time a Ridemora team member downloads one of your documents, we record who, when, and from where in an immutable audit log.
- Customer accounts require a minimum 12-character password checked against known data-breach lists, and portal sessions automatically expire after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- Access to customer records is limited to authorized Ridemora personnel and, when you consent, our lending partners.
No system is perfectly secure, but we continually review and tighten our controls. If you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact us immediately using the details below.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw your consent to further use at any time (subject to legal and contractual restrictions). Contact us using the details below to make a request.
8. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
